Two of Acuitas’ lobbyists were named to the Crain’s Detroit Business “2020 50 Names to Know in Lobbying” list this week.

Despite the lack of lawmaking this year in Lansing, lobbyists have been hard at work navigating the various COVID-19 executive orders, legislative counter actions, and public health orders.

With the lame duck session quickly approaching, the Legislature’s biggest influencers and informers could be in for some late nights as they help make new laws and spend taxpayer money before December.

According to the Crain’s article, “This 50 Names to Know in Lobbying guide is a selection of professionals representing trade groups, major corporations, law firms, long-established multiclient lobbying firms, sole proprietors and rising stars in this business.”

Crain’s also noted that to be fair, they limited the multiclient firms (that’s us!) to up to two lobbyists each.
