Benjamin Fox | Legislative Aide
A recent graduate of Michigan State University, Benjamin Fox has built a strong foundation in leadership, policy, and civic engagement through both academic and professional experiences. Majoring in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy through the James Madison College, with a minor in Leadership of Organizations, Ben has demonstrated a deep commitment to public service and organizational development from the outset of his collegiate career.
A native from Buffalo, New York, Ben gained valuable political experience working in the Buffalo office of the U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, where he contributed to constituent services and policy research. He also worked at the Erie County Democratic Committee, supporting local electoral efforts and grassroots organizing. These roles sharpened his skills in governance, policy advocacy, team management, and stakeholder communication – experiences that would prove instrumental in his early career.
Ben brought an energetic and ambitious spirit to MSU, quickly becoming a campus leader. As a freshman, he was elected President of the Freshman Class Council, setting the tone for an active and impactful undergraduate experience. He went on to serve as President of both the Sophomore and Senior Class Councils, and during his junior year, held the distinguished role of Chief of Staff within the university’s student government.
While still a student at Michigan State University, Ben began working with Acuitas. Passionate about public policy, civic leadership, and creating meaningful impact, Ben continues to develop his knowledge in government relations and political strategy.
Outside of work, he remains a proud supporter of all Michigan State athletics and an unwavering fan of the Buffalo Bills.
